Whitehall’s Overlook Park is landlocked by the backyards of neighbors on Fieldcrest, Spring Valley, and Orchard Hill. Many know it to be “that park behind St. Gabe’s Church and School. This park has been closed all of 2023 so that bidders can evaluate the space for the park’s redevelopment. No picnics or baseball games have taken place. The Borough removed the damaged playground equipment in June of 2023 leaving the swings in place.

As of September 20, 2023, Whitehall Council approved Gateway Engineering’s plan for Phase 1. See the following video from the meeting to hear the debate and vote.
